Frey Elementary School Reviews

Frey Elementary is not conducive to a diverse population. The leadership is weak. It allows parents to possess entirely too much control in the entire climate and decision-making within the learning environment. My experience with Frey was extremely negative. I would not recommend this travesty of an educational institution to anyone. It is a very socially secluded culture. This school does not benefit children in preparing them to function (with diverse populations) in the 'real world.'

We moved to this area a year ago, specifically for the schools. We took our child out of private school to enter Frey as a first grader. We were very pleased. The teacher was outstanding. Very enthusiastic and an inspiration to our daughter. When she entered first grade she was struggling with reading. By the end of the year she was reading at an advanced 2nd grade level. Her math skills also improved dramatically. The parent involvement is wonderful at Frey. The PTSA seems to run all the non-academic activities at the school and is very good about keeping parents notified of everything that is going on. Frey is an excellent school!

We moved here 18 months ago from an excellent Long Island, NY school and Frey has exceeded all of my expectations. The staff, the teachers, the school is just amazing. Awesome curriculum, Standards are executed daily and the structure and discipline is just wonderful. I am also a reading specialist and Speech teacher who has worked as an assistant principal, I feel that my jugement is accurate, working for the NYC Board of Education I saw 'it all' and Frey is tops---Loving every minute of it, my child is excelling well. Thanks Frey.

I love Frey! We purposely bought our house in this school district. There is a mix of students, the teachers are great, the office staff are wonderful, my son went there last year - 1st grade and is excelling in his 2nd grade. This is a very active school and the children really have a great learning environment. We are sad that when the new grade school is built, we will be switched.

Frey is a very good school in all educational areas I just don't think it is culturaly diverse my children are earning a terrific education I have 4 in frey when we moved here in jan from orlando my kindergarten daughter was reading on first grade level by the end of march so yes it is a good school .

The staff at Frey is exceptional! Cordial, dedicated and easy to get along with. My son's graduating this year and well miss the warm feeling we get every time we enter the school

A+ This is a great place for children to learn and grow! As a real estate consultant I always tell my buyers to look at this school. If you want the best education for your child look no further, you found Frey!

I think that Frey is an excellent school. When we moved here, my son was in the middle of third grade and let me just say wow! The staff were the friendliest I've ever seen! Also, my son's read level went through the roof. If you have a chance, visit this school!

My daughter went to frey for kindergarten. Wow!!! i was blown away. Who would have thought that the principal, staff teachers and parents would be so great. Over the summer we moved and our daughter now goes to hayes. We should have never moved. We went from a wonderful school to a not so good school. I would do anything to get my daughter back at frey. If you are looking to move to this school, do it! you will be thinkful that you did.

Our children have attended Frey for 4 years and I couldn't be more pleased. Academically they have thrived under caring teachers and administration. The PTSA is amazing and Frey is blessed to have incredible parent support. Frey is a great school and the test scores are proof. Teachers are approachable and kind toward the children and the parents. Frey is Freytastic!

My child just finished his first year at Frey and I am proud to say that we could not have asked for a better year or a better teacher. The staff and administration always greated him with a smile and were willing to help. He finished kindergarten with a love for school and a fantastic attitude. (Not to mention reading well above level!) FREY IS A GREAT SCHOOL!

I have two children that were at Frey. One is now in middle school and the other had to finish elementary at another school. I now wished we had never moved!!! From K-5 I NEVER worried about my children and they received the BEST EDUCATION EVER at Frey . The teachers and staff are the best and I can honestly say that! Having gone thru elementary and middle with my children. The grass may looker greener at other schools, but Frey stands tall and IS THE BEST!!! And remember it will always be a better school if each parent is involved!

I feel frey is one of the best schools around.never had any problems. my kids are eager to learn and all the teachers I've met really care.

This school is not the best in my opinion. The teachers are inadequate. The Principal and the office staff are not the friendliest. I dread my children going to this school.

I was unhappy with the teachers awareness of where the children were located when in transition from place to place. My daughter was lost by her teacher not once but twice. I feel the school is too large to deal with such young children.
