Varner Elementary School Reviews

I find Varner to be a great school. They have wonderful caring and involved teachers. The teachers treated my child and his class as though they were his own children. Great response when a concern was made. We need more teachers who have as much passion as this one.

Not up to standards of other schools in area. Faculty and Administration unresponsive to concerns of this parent. Very disappointed.

It's a good school generally speaking though overrated. There is just something really lacking in the continued efforts for improvement. It's a shame, because Varner could contend with Kemp, Still, or Vaughn, but falls short of doing so.

Varner is a good school overall. Improvement can be done in school activities. Maybe with new leadership, some new changes will take place.

Overall I have been satisfied with Varner. Communication between the school and the parents is its biggest weakness. We have loved every teacher that our kids have had so far.

Outstanding school, Loved it. Small classes, with heartfelt teachers to help my children learn. I have an 2nd and K there. They love it. having to move out of state, wish I could take the school with us. Great Job Varner keep it up!

This is a great school for students to come to.I have a forth grader at varner in Mr.stone's class he has gotten all A's so far. This is a Great school.

I've had a wonderful experience with Varner. I had a daughter who attended 1st thru 5th grade, and a son currently in the 4th grade. The teachers are great and very involved. The parents are very involved and willing to help out in any way.

I have a 3rd grader at Varner and for the most part have been very pleased. There was only one teacher that my daughter encountered who left something to be desired. Otherwise, all her teachers have held Master's in Education and have been instrumental in getting parent's involved in the classroom. My daughter is in the gifted program and I have seen her perform over and above what is expected of her as a result of the Advanced Placement Program.

Varner is an pretty alright school. It is a little better than some of the ones in Paulding County. The academic standards are average.Parental involvement is not encouraged as much as it should be and they tend to not be real receptive of it.When it comes down to it teachers here are not as willing as they should be to go the extra mile to ensure a students success.

Varner is overall a very good school. An excellent school is one in which individual teachers are held accountable for their actions. An excellent school is one in which the phrase, 'Parental Involvement' means more than parental fundraising and lip service from the administration and teachers. Overall rating: 3.65 My Varner Viking is currently entering 5th grade and is an excellent student with varied extra-curricular activities independent of the school.
